Pat Boone – Ain’t That a Shame

Patrick Charles Eugene Boone, commonly known as Pat Boone, became a successful pop star between the ’50s and the early ’60s. Billboard confirms that he was the second top charting artist of the ’50s, bested only by the King of Pop, Elvis Presley.

Boone not only sold over 45 million copies of his records, but he also had about 38 songs in the Top 40 hits. Additionally, he had some stints in Hollywood as an actor and appeared in over 12 films. He even played a starring role, most recently in “The Mulligan,” which just got released in April 2022.
