Tina Louise made her first steps into acting as a stage actress during the early ’50s until 1958 when she landed her breakthrough role in the popular drama film, God’s Little Acre. Following the movie’s success, the renowned actress won a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year.
She’s also famous for playing in the hit TV comedy Gilligan’s Island during the mid-’60s. Louise has a $6-million fortune, a part of which she has donated to charity regarding the education of young people and kids across America. She eventually decided to enter retirement in 2015.
