Tsai Ing-wen | Yonghe Residence (Price: Undisclosed)

Tsai Ing-wen is the first woman to occupy the position of the President in Taiwan, officially the Republic of China. She assumed office in 2016. As the law requires, a residence is provided for the president and her family to live in while in office. This current residence, Yonge Residence, is located in New Taipei City.

There is no complete information about the cost of the official presidential residence due to the wall around the complex and the tight security of the Sixth Special Corps. It has been in use since 1988 when Lee Teng-hui was in office and it’s arguably one of the most expensive residential buildings in the district.
