He first got to portray Iceman on Top Gun back in 1986. Today, Val Kilmer is getting ready to watch the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, and we can’t help but notice how well he’s aged! After all, almost four decades have gone by since he was in the movie to begin with!
Val has found a lot of success since Top Gun. He even got to portray Jim Morrison on The Doors film of the early ‘90s. He was married to Joanne Whalley between 1988 and 1996, with whom he had two children. In 2020 he also published his first book called I’m Your Huckleberry: A Memoir.
