If you were a fan of vintage TV shows, Max Baer Jr might be a familiar name to you. Back in the ’60s, he became a part of The Beverly Hillbillies as Jethro Bodine, a guy who got into a lot of trouble. He remained in the show until its cancellation in the ’70s. He then began trying his luck in directing and producing films, including Macon County Line. His career didn’t blossom as much as he wanted to, so his retirement in acting came a little bit early in 1991.
